I had this crazy thought recently. you know how we raise certain animals specifically for the purpose of human consumption. Well imagine if you will that that was our true purpose in life. Some dominant intelligent species has a particular liking for human meat and so we were raised in controlled environments and fattened up just so once we reach adult hood or so we are eaten bu this species. How would you feel about that world?

What if our purpose in life was to be bred as food for another dominating species?
I mean it's called dust mites, and worms. They already do this. But tbf they don't kill us, just eat us mostly after dead or during life but without killing. So basically it's something like if vampires existed. Well then unlike animals humans are capable of building tools and thinking how to get out of something other. So it would be hard to regulate are species. It's kinda like humans as slaves always thought back, sure some accepted been so, but quite a lot rebelled.
How i would feel, Not be bothered really i mean i would fight back too. But it is just how the world works and how the food chain works. So i would bare no hate to the things eating me, but ya can bet i won't go down without a fight. Unless it's a vampire girl then... i maybe okay with it.
This was several sci fi movies. Arguably, two of the latest ones, War of the Worlds (2005) and A Quiet Place (2018). There's two flaws with this, though. 1) Human beings are far too stubborn and annoying to make good meat. And 2) Other animals weigh more than us, and would make for much better consumption.
Although cannibals, having described this taste, said human meat, objectively, taste like, "bitter pork." They all seem to agree on this, at least. If that is indeed the case, why not just use the real thing?
The human race would cease to exist. They would have to keep each individual in their own enclosure, otherwise it would be an ongoing purge. They would have to have the rapists do the breeding because no one would want to bring a kid into such existence. They would probably just end up frying our brains because that's the only way to get humans to cooperate. I hope this never happens. I always think of shit like this too😂
Wow! I've never thought about that. It's nice to see that not all of your questions are to laugh. Well, if that was our main purpose on Earth I guess we would have to accept it and don't fight it. Plus, I bet many people wouldn't have children because they wouldn't want their kids to be killed like them.
Majority would reject reality, some individuals would creep below the surface and opportunist would try to make a deal with this dominating species. Animal Farm where pigs think they are the chosen one among all animals could be a good reference. Sóylent green scenario is unrealistic, because animals which eat sh... taste like food they eat.
For starters welcome to The Twilight Zone & secondly I’m glad I’m skinny because the cannibals would probably eat someone larger first. On the other hand I wouldn’t be surprised if we already eat human meat & don’t know about it & what tastes like chicken nuggets at some places may not be chicken.
That'd be a great idea for a movie. Especially if this dominant species deliberately tried to make it appear as though we were living normal lives. All sorts of conspiracy theorists would be all over that.
