I think only few of them do unless you make them too uncomfortable by getting too close to them. But because the only part that is edible is the fin so their entire body may be being wasted
Yes, many of them are endangered and even if it's a non-endangered species, it's easy to get lots of mercury, so even less of a reason

I kind of agree that it's unethical. Just because I know the way sharks are typically killed when caught. They are dragged on a line behind the boat for miles until dead.
@black beauty 90s there’s lots of black women and other people I know who are uneducated in other areas so you’re a hypocrite. Please reply because I’d love to have this discussion with you
I could be wrong but I don’t think sharks eat or attack people often. Usually they only it when you make them uncomfortable by getting too close to them
you're right vending machines kill people more often than sharks. and people are more than 16,000x more likely to select reeses pieces from a vending machine than to die at the vending machine. but that just tells us that sharks taste like reeses pieces.
I don’t know but the only part of them that is edible is their fin so people argue that it’s wrong to eat them when the rest of their body isn’t used for anything

Yes if it is a variety that is in danger of extinctIon,
otherwise not.
What is the difference between eating a shark and eating a flounder?
Yes. Many sharks are threatened, and they don’t reproduce quickly. They are essential to a healthy ocean.
if i swim at sea a shark would not hesitate to eat me
so why i can't do the same
so by that logic are you going to kill the shark yourself too
Why would it be unethical? They eat us, too. It's a fair play.

I think sharks are dying out if I’m not wrong, so we probably shouldn’t hunt them.
Nope. The sharks eat ate us, and now it's payback time.
Like eating any other meat, no. I don't have that western supremacy mindset.
We should kill em off because they’re eating all our food in the sea
No that’s humans

Why? They would eat us if they had half a chance.
Lol, no they wouldn’t.
You must think sharks are your friends
@saintsRow3 They’re not friends, I don’t meet sharks out for a beer. But they certainly have 0 interest in seeing people as a food source.
Sharks rarely eat people. They rarely even attack people unless you cross their boundaries by getting too close to them
Sharks kill about 9 people a year (total for the entire world). Humans kill about 100,000,000 sharks a year.
Go Jump in the water then and swim with Sharks 🦈 And see how Fast your Mauled to death.
@Lynn2001 @joeldalton Tell that to the crew of the USS Indianapolis.
@saintsRow3 I do all the time.
@daniela1982 That is a rare occurrence. Certainly not the norm.
More sharks are killed by humans than humans are by sharks. You're more likely to be killed by fido than you are a shark. So go eat fido.

No, we should just bite the s*** out of them like they do everything else.
Eating sharks, nope; de-finning them and then throwing them back into the ocean, yes.
is it unethical for sharks to eat ME?
I could be wrong but I don’t think sharks eat or attack people often. Usually they only it when you make them uncomfortable by getting too close to them

Only if sharks are an endangered species
Nope. We eat a lot of other species.
Are they endangered or something?
I don’t know but the only part of them that is edible is their fin so people argue that it’s wrong to eat them when the rest of their body isn’t used for anything
Can’t be used*
I see where they're coming from.
Not if it doesn't eat you first
Shark is ethically fished. Shark fins are not.
