The future is here & when you go to a restaurant you order from the table or a smartphone & instead of a waiter or waitress bringing you your food a robot does. Robots are friendly & you don’t have to tip them however if there is a computer problem a waiter or waitress may have to save the day.
A robot, because wait staff is useless, rude, annoying, don't do their job most of the time, and expect you to pay them $20 for all of that. I don't like any of them and I've never supported (American) tipping culture. F*ck all of 'em! They are exactly why I never dined in, in the US, to begin with. I'm not paying someone twenty bucks to be a lazy rude asshole the whole night! Or for any other reason!
I not only support robot waiters and do-it-yourself touchscreen kiosks, but I'd be willing to invest my own money into them if it means far less entitled lazy assholes whining about "only 20%" for a tip when they have no actual job skills, to begin with. They can all learn to code! Have the robots put them ALL out of work! 🤖
I'd rather ONLY either a robot server if dining in, or order my food to go, like I previously been doing.

I still refuse to use “self checkout” registers in stores. It’s wholly unfortunate how few people realize the damage they’re doing to their local economy by supporting businesses that cut the LOWEST PAID employees first. The ones who are actually PRODUCTIVE. Start supporting companies that cut the unproductive wealthy first! There’s no way to fix our broken economy with current trends.
A lot of people go to restaurants for the social environment and not just the food, it’s why some places can rip you off and still get customers, they are selling a lifestyle and social place.
We had a robot served us when we were in Italy.
i prefer humans. I like human connections. I also feel bad how hard they have to work.

It depends, which one is faster and better? I've learned when dining in, to order when they ask for Drinks. If I say give me 5 minutes to look at the menu, they take 20 to come back, cause they went on their rounds.
Which I get, as I was a server, I can't do nothing for 5 minutes... got other customers too.
Like most businesses the slowest aspect of service is customers.
Ever been in a drive through line when the person in front of you is talking in slow motion? taking 20 minutes to order cause they don't know what they want and they sound high?
I have, lots of times... usually its them asking one of 20 kids one at a time what the kid wants and the kid has to then decide.
If a robot is faster, I'm all for that... but chances are, some fool is going to take forever doing something and the robot is going to get stuck there and possibly have to reboot to get unfrozen 😂😂😂
I think the robot is adorable, but I think I'd miss an actual person taking my order. We already have touch screens in fast food places, so it's made it easier for me to order off of that than make the cashier wait until I have my decision. I do go up to them when I want a special drink though (mocha, slushy, etc.).
I'd prefer a waiter. It may be a crap job but I'd rather someone be getting paid rather than a robot.
Recently, I was hungry enough to agree to a meal from McSilly. But seeing the touch screen order nonsense, I opted for staying hungry and went away.
It's not, that there aren't enough people looking for a job.
1,000,000 percent a server. No robots please. In fact, I would go out of my way to avoid a robot restaurant.
The restaurant at the hotel I stayed in for my honeymoon had two of these Bellabots driving around... To me it was the most fun feature of the restaurant. I'd love to go back there for another vacation.
I would rather a waiter/waitress. Putting robots in a restaurant will take jobs away from people.
Voted C. I get it could be convenient, but it seems odd, and “slow.”
I prefer a human touch and that someone has job and is getting paid even if it is a crap job.
i forget where i saw this video, but you'd order your food at a table and it was on a running belt that went around the tables. it was very cool
great. servers are talk shit behind your back in the kitchen based on what you ordered or how you asked for your order.
Unless there is a cute charming waitress
I experienced this recently. The robot waiter had a cheerful beep so I liked him.
On my birthday I ate at a restaurant that has a robot which serves the food. I thought it was fun.
I’m a human and I like human interaction. So, my I want a waitress.
Unless, I’m in a country where I can’t speak the language.
i'm assuming i don't have to tip the robot then. if so, i choose robot. sorry.
I'd prefer an actual person. Robots are already stealing too many jobs (despite being much worse at doing them).
No I like the smiles and little talks that waiters offer.
I prefer a person. Robots don’t have a sense of humor, but at least a waiter/waitress could laugh at a joke or an awkward but funny mishap.

which one is cleaner... I do wonder...
doesn't matter. As long as the food is still in one piece. I mean the robot would be better if it doesn't ask for tips.
