Long story short, I'm on medicines that's leading me to have zero appetite. I hardly ate anything for a while then I realized it is reflecting badly on my gut health but I really can't force myself to eat a lot. I've since been eating yogurt with chia seeds daily for fiber and probiotics, and am looking for more food ideas. TIA.
I can give you better advice if you enlist the name of drugs (salts) in prescription but that being said, antibiotics/anti-fungal drugs (you can message me) are common causes of "Loss of appetite and Anorexia"
Firstly, you are on the right track. Probiotics and Fermented food are necessary to deal with loss of appetite caused by aniti-biotics. I would recommend Kimchi, cheese, sauerkraut and other variety of fermented food along with yogurt.
Secondly, try to add "whole grains" in your diet like wheat flour, rye, oatmeal, barley, Rice pudding, quinoa or a multigrain would do the trick. Quick cook Oats in milk with peanut butter works for me.
Lastly, drink 8 to 12 cups of water daily and eat a lot of salad made with green vegetables and 2 tablespoons of extra Virgin olive oil... Tuna salad and scrambled eggs are other safe options.
Too reiterate, just try to avoid Junk food and use green vegetables for the course of the treatment and ear what-ever you would eat normally, there is absolutely no need to panic about it and please for the love of GOD, don't try any DESI TOTKA.

Just a little follow-up on AlphaGhost. Be sure to eat foods with "complementary proteins" if you don't get much protein via eggs, dairy or meats. This is why beans are often mated with rice or corn: each gives incomplete "protein" alone, but combined, you receive all the amino acids you need to build protein. Amino acids are the building blocks of protein. Some your body can synthesize. Some your body needs from outside sources: these are ESSENTIAL amino acids, since your body canNOT synthecize them itself. The rice and/or corn provides some, the beans/lentils/legumes provide others. They must both be eaten simultaneously since all the amino acids to rebuild protein must be present at the same time to create the protein molecules.
BTW- I love sauerkraut, but I'm Czech so it kind of comes naturally- knedlike and zelli
(dumplings and kraut).
Also, if you don't regularly eat fermented foods, ease into them gradually so your body can make the adjustment without undue amount of flatulence during the transition. You can find recipes for fermented foods in Oriental cooking and also in Homesteading info sites.
Try some pregnancy pops. They are suckers for pregnant woman. They help stimulate appetite, suppressing nausea.
Maybe try some smoothies with added protein powder?

when my digestive system gives up on me and therefore I cannot eat much... I do survive on yogurt as well... and I also try with some (canned) tuna and mayo with salty crackers, a bit of mashed potatoes, and eventually, I will move to little bites of chicken soup (potato and veggies included)
Try sipping on soups, use a vacuum mug to keep them warm, or supplement drinks like Build Up or Complan ask at you local pharmacy about these as the might not go by those names where you live. check out these websites for other tips;

www.healthifyme.com/.../Just remember to eat a balanced diet from the four food groups, salt, sugar, fat, and beer. Do that and you'll be just fine. 🤣
Sorry I can't be more help. There really is no perfect food. Just better choices. And due to your health I don't know what you can and can't tolerate.
Spinach, kale, and carrots. If you can stand how horrible they taste.
Potatoes, lentils, legumes, light amount of fish and red meat. Animal proteins are important to have in small quantities. Too many will destroy your body.
The yogurt is GREAT! Also, salad. Whole fruit is a good one. Chocolate milk.
Smoothies.
Maybe try Kachava, itβs a meal shake with everything in it
You should ask the doctor that is prescribing the medicine. The advice from untrained people could harm you.
