like assuming you're not one of these nut cases who are trying to live "consuming sun light" or feeding on the front lawn, you're eating agriculturally grown plants. do you know how many animals are killed, poisoned and robbed of their natural environment in order to produce your food? you have blood on your hands even if all you eat is soy. this isn't really a question, i guess. i'm just weirded out by the moral superiority complex that the vegans are riding as if they'd be the better humans. we all need to eat and if we wanna eat, something's gotta die. that's the circle of life and you won't get out of actively taking part in it unless you die. and i would even argue that as a meat consumer myself, i'm really not killing that much more animals than you do as a vegan. if you feel triggered by this, don't bother responding. if you think i'm wrong, please argue your case in a rational manner. i won't reply to ad hominem attacks.
obviously if you're not a vegan, this doesn't apply to you. because you're not the ones shaming and guilt-tripping others for their eating habits. see you in the comments.
Vegans in general pay more attention to their food than the average joe.
So yes most of them know the problems regarding their food and how its grown.
However if you eat meat, espacially the industrial produced stuff you find in supermarkets, it hurts the environment much more.
So its the lesser evil.

Fairness, now- even the nitrogen cycle and bodily decomposition means they're eating animal products, only less efficiently. However, they don't really have an alternative; it's not like you can forcibly relocate an entire species and not have something take its place.
I hate how there are more vegan food then there are for people with food allergies. I'm life-threateningly allergic to dairy, egg, peanut and tree nut so most of the desserts I have are vegan. When vegan food tries to make fake meat, that's when I draw the line. You CAN'T make FAKE meat! You just can't.
Don't forget that plant fertiliser comes from an animals ass.

I don't think that vegans shall be judging other people out of how they eat. People eat the way they do out of tradition, and are simply suspicious of anything new by default.
Now if you ask me if I feel superior for eating vegan, yes I do. Absolutely.
Because this goes way beyond veganism. I'm cristal clear in everything I do. Hence I'm honest also on how I eat, and I have the balls to execute it.
Most people don't have such balls, hence I'm superior.
And many don't know that if you eat dairy products, you are killing cows.
