I don't have pancakes that often, but I like them.
When I make them at home, I make a stack of three. I put butter and real maple syrup on each pancake, not just on the top of the stack.
My wife and I go to a particular restaurant for breakfast on occasion. I always get corned beef hash, crispy hash browns and an egg over easy. I mix them all together.
Instead of toast, I substitute it with pancake. The pancake is decent size, maybe 5", and I eat that with butter and syrup for dessert. 😃 😋
Those are about the only times I have pancakes.

I mean if your eating them stacked together you are probably gonna run into a few problems lol. Like a triple stacked burger. If it can't fit in my mouth I don't want it no matter how thick it is
Well, crepes for me are pancakes - that's how we make pancakes in the cold north. (Nordic) and well they're rolled up.
When I make American pancakes (that's how the thicker pancakes are referred to in Denmark), I think of them as skonsur - which is basically the same ingredients. We just don't eat them as deserts or with sweet stuff. But with butter and cheese - I'll eat them separately. If I make tuna or shrimp salad for them - I'll occasionally stack them if I've guests coming over.
I don’t think they should be anything, or anywhere but on my plate 😂.
It would be a crime if they couldn’t be their fullest and fluffiest selves, without the top quality maple syrup to wear, and salted, melted butter, to accessorize with.
I can have them stacked or separate. With smiths right syrup, and butter, a buttermilk pancake can never ‘go wrong.’ 😭🤧🥞🧈💞

The pancakes in the pictures here are rather thick. Here in my country pancakes are thinner, and to keep them warm the best is to pile them before serving or taking them one by one.
I like having them stacked with syrup on each pancake. I like them fruity but sometimes they're just plain with butter.
I cute them all in little bits, first...
same as I did as a kid, lmao...I hate pancakes they will raise your insulin levels for nothing damage your liver and bladder and pancreas due to its high carb content and high sugars
throw the pancakes awayThey stay hot longer when insulated, but pull them apart one at a time to eat.
Stacked, obviously. It’s the law. Would you condone anarchy?
Pile them up, with butter and maple syrup between each pair, and over the top
I think it tastes better when stacked. I once ate Chinese pancakes in Hong Kong. There are a lot of ingredients in them and they are very delicious.
I like large pancakes made with milk and it should be in separately with log cabin syrup, or mama syrup
Pile them up then put corn syrup on them. Maple syrup upsets my stomach so I use corn syrup.
Being so thin they should at least be in pairs to avoid wasting what you put on top.
Even if you are going to eat them separately, they should be stacked. Otherwise, you run out of counter space in the kitchen too quickly.
I usually make 1 or 2 and put them next to eachother not on top.
I prefer separate, when they are stacked the syrup/butter ratio is too low.
I like to pile them up and then eat them separately.
I don’t know they look good stacked but I’m more of a waffle person.
separately allows better distribution of bacon, sausages, eggs and maple syrup.
I pile them up. Same with waffles.
Gotta stack them to get a good mouthful
