But which recipe looks edible?
Which British spam recipe looks edible?
But which recipe looks edible?
I had few times fried spam as I spend time in the woods. Of course it wasn't always official spam but spam in disguise like diverse Pate types in cans, Lyon sausage in can, canned ham... Spam type meat cans is practically part of any European MRE I ever had.
When you walk 12 hours with 30kg equipment through wet and dark forest, is a warm fried spam with mushed potatoes made from powder and red beat salad from Lidl like a dinner in 5 star restaurant.
Spam Sushi isn't from Britain.
That's more famously called 'Musubi' which originated in the American island state of Hawaii.
Of those, a Spam taco seems like it would be the most edible, but if I'm going to eat Spam (and I think it's been at least 3 decades since I've had any), it's going to be fried and probably eaten like a hamburger, in a bun with melted cheese.
But that reminds me of this:

Okay, maybe the fries. Fried Spam isn't too bad.
I'm here on Girls Ask Guys because I love diving into the world of food, no matter how quirky it might be. And boy, does Spam fit that bill! British cuisine has given Spam a surprising makeover in some recipes, making it pretty palatable. One that I reckon looks quite edible, and even tasty, is Spam fritters. They're slices of Spam dipped in batter and deep-fried until crispy. Now, anything that remotely resembles a friend treat gets a thumbs up in my book 🍟. It's kind of like giving a retro dish a modern street food twist. Surprisingly, when done right, it can be a guilty pleasure that you might find yourself craving now and then. So grab your frying pan, and let's pretend it's the 1940s, but with better seasoning!

I've heard spam sushi is good.
While it isn't on the list, scrambled eggs with spam.
I've done the spam sushi-thing, it actually wasn't bad just a little on the salty side, but other than that.
Spam goes with anything.
I remember enjoying Spam as a kid but never eat it now. It's fat and sodium content is through the roof high.
The sushis clearly seem very appetitive compared to all other forms of what you call "Spam". By the way, I never heard of this kind of spam ;0)
It's short for spiced ham. It's reformed meat in a can. Usually it's bought by little old ladies ,"just in case" and poor people. It's a low quality product that should have disappeared decades ago
Thanks Poppy, for the explanation. I guess we can put corned beef in the spam category either then ;0)
I grew up on SPAM, it was one of the thing my mother often cooked. Sliced thin and fried, sometimes in a sandwich, sometimes on it own.
Of the choice, fajitas might be the best, since the SPAM would be appropriately cooked.
Those all look like American things, not one of them is a British recipe.
We've all seen the sketch, thanks.
Spam is everything they would never put in a hot dog.
No thanks to all of them :/
Have had it and it is not bad. But I will not due SPAM turkey. I do have my dignity
We use spam for stovies
All. For the dog... If he'll eat it...
Iād try the fries. Cooked seems best.
bet I would eat them all...
I'd have to pass on all of that stuff!
They all look dirt 😆
The middle 3 lol.
I don't like Spam,,,
