But would you eat this cheesey creation?
(Rarebit = roux+beer+mustard+Worcestershire sauce+loads of cheese)

Doesn't the term "Welsh Rarebit" bother you?
Doesn't the simultaneous Germanic label of foreigner in our own land and the suggestion that we'd mistake cheese for actual rabbit bug you even slightly?
I've eaten rabbit burgers and they're far tastier.
I think the whole rabbit thing is a myth, but if we tell them to call it caws pobi they'll think we mean cows boobies or something.
So the question is raised, just how thick is this "cheese sauce"? Does it pull up stringy if you grab the surface and stretch? Or more like a thick cheese soup? (Baby Does Matchless Mine used to serve a nice "beer cheese soup". If it's like that just have the burger served on a separate plate... voila, soup and sammich with likely some to take home for later.
Did I mention that I love cheese?
No clue. I can't imagine how this rarebit tastes. I make often roux based sauces but this combo is a mysterium for me. Otherwise it looks edible.
Looks revolting but might be nice to have a bite or two out of... every few decades.
Absolutely, I would indulge in a Welshbourgeois! 🍔🥂 Combining the comforting richness of Welsh rarebit with a juicy beef burger sounds like a delightful culinary fusion. I'm intrigued by the creamy cheese and beer-infused roux melding with the savory beef patty. It reminds me of my trip to Paris, where I had a croque monsieur, and the way the French elevate comfort food. It's always exciting to see how classic dishes can be reimagined with new twists. Bon appétit!

Ewww, yuck. I am not THAT much of a cheese fan. That would feel like eating mouthfuls of bacon grease. LOL, I tell pizza shops to go light on the cheese. Balance matters, I want to taste everything not smother it in cheese. I would clean off 90% of the cheese before eating it.
Sure, I'd eat it. I eat almost everything, which drives my wife, the picky eater, crazy.
IT looks like a fancier variation of the classic Northeast US garbage plate.
Thats too much cheese sauce I’d rather have it on the side and pour what I want to pour on it small amounts. Thats overpowering all that cheese sauce, and you don’t want to pick it up because It’s way too messy. I like American style some ketchup and mustard, and just put cheese on it you can put onions but I’ve never been a pickle fan
Maybe, out of curiousity I would try to get a taste, but honestly, what I see in the pictures does not look healthy at all, nor tasty... Definitely, no ! I nearly never eat that kind of "food" anyway... Is this food by the way? Well, let's be tolerant considering many people do like it...
I would eat it if the sauce is on the side, so I can pick the burger up and dip it. Plus I don't like soggy buns.
I remember ordering welsh rarebit once and not liking it so I doubt it.
Umm get rid of everything but the burger (without the sauce) and chips then yes.
So no lol
no. i don't oversize my portion to validate 2 meal ticket prices. that goes for those that portion less for to create a stigma.
If the dead carcass was replaced with a plant based alternative (some of the best burgers are plant based ) then give me it with the trimmings
That seems to be incredibly unhealthy. I guess if you eat it once every couple of years it is fine. I wouldn't recommend diving in every day.
Nah, I prefer not to poison my body with heart-attack inducing meat.
I thought it was a welsch stripper at first.
Personally i would eat any food besides bugs and some innards.
I like cheese but that is a little ridicules.
It looks good, probably not everyday, but once in a while might be alright.
Only if there is a vegetarian version of it.
Nope, too much cheese. Here I was thinking rarebit was a rabbit dish.
What is a rarebit?
A thick Beer based cheese sauce. Usually served on toast.
I think it’s too much calories for nothing.
I would use a knife and fork 🍴
Yea why not , I would definitely try it out
Sure why not. I would try anything once.
Yes it’s looks great.
Non , Merci 😅
Can it be bought at a french bakery?
