I'd consider myself a feminist along the lines of christina hoff summers, which basically means that i disagree with a lot of current day feminist talking points that they sometimes get hypersensitive over... but i still see myself as pro gender equality (of opportunity and choices).
Feminism is cancer. The inoperable sort. One can be pro gender-equality without associating with feminists. It's the really loud, annoying feminists who are eyesores. Most rational men and women agree with feminism when it comes to principles but avoid the label 'feminist'. As you said, feminism is a 'sisterhood'... Like a cult of brainwashed zombies, high on misplaced feelings of moral superiority.
Definition of 'fad': "an intense and widely shared enthusiasm for something, especially one that is short-lived and without basis in the object's qualities; a craze."
Sounds like the perfect example of feminism's increase and decline in popularity. Because if the quality of feminism has gone waaaay down over the years.

i'm definitely a feminist. wasn't trying to start anything just don't leave out us guys who believe that women deserve equal treatment, rights and opportunities as men.

Feminism has nearly destroyed the family, caused a huge rift between the genders and has pushed an ideology of hate based on lies that has corrupted every facet of society, for decades. Your attempt to silence righteous outrage at this is making YOU the joke.
