I have yet to date a woman who would even remotely want to trade her work load for mine, and only once has one of them felt it important to pay an even share of the bills.
I really hate that women (in the US today) take what they have for granted, not realizing that they could lose some basic rights very quickly with just one hard push by the Republicons (when they have the White House, Congress, & Supreme Court). It also bothers me that enough women did not support the ERA to get it passed (nor do most women here even know what the ERA is), nor did enough of them realize the importance of voting for Hillary Clinton for president. But, now I'm ranting...
Very interesting theory and when you think about it , a lot of it makes sense.
I am not being aggressive or picky, you have done a good job pointing out where you think it went wrong. I would like to know what you see as the solutions. Like say you had children , what kind of role model would you be , what would you want a son or daughter to aspire to.
When I see married couples that both work but the women still do most the housework I kinda look down on them a bit I can't help but think they are kinda enslaving themselves. Why would you settle for a man who expects you to work but sits on his as you do the housework?
Maybe the man says ill work you do housework. Then the woman says i want to work too. But the man says do what you want but im still not doing the housework or else this relationship isn't for me. So then the woman does both because she wants to.
@bamesjond0069 no I know these couples personally the husbands are definitely not offering to make all the money
@bamesjond0069 I do think I'd rather work them do all the housework anyways. Unless it was later in life I will probably end up working my self to death in sales so I'm sure I'll be tired in my 50's and would not mind just doing housework and by then the kids will be gone anyways so it would not be a ton of work.
Why not pull in enough income between the two of you to hire a maid?
I dont know how to respond to this article seeing as how there are variations to various points in your article.
Overall you're right in that society is moving forward. Men are becoming more helpful and women are integrating more into the workforce. However women still do not get treated as well as men do in the workplace nor does that reflect in our pay if me and Bobby joe have the same exact experience, skill set, time at the company and job.
Agree with all you said
Thanksš it was well writtenššš
I hate to say it but Bobby joe Is probably more likely to demand more money, move to another company or to relocate to another town/city/state/country for more money than most women.
Bobby Joe was a man...
@AllAmericanGirl99 Bobby Joe š¤£š¤£š¤£
Thank you miss I appreciate it
... and what a manš
A mighty good manš
@WowwGirl who in the hell is bobby joey joe, why do i feel that bobby dodd, sorry i meant bobby joel, F*CK, bobby jim... okay that's enough!
No wimps in my section, only real men are allowed to step in, someone who is surely not like baxter bobs, SORRY AGAIN, i mean popeye joe! š¤Ø
By the way, in this case i shall call myself EUGENE "the nerd" BOB š¤
So how often i lets say two years you have asked for rise, expressed willingness to move for rise or just plain worked 60h a week because it just had to be done.
I have asked rise 4 times with my numbers and got it all times, have worked at least 5 weeks 60h+ because it had to be done, and have moved. I also can lift more and do heavy work if needed. So if your only excuse is not having dangling parts between your legs than you have way bigger problems, than not asking for rise, not working extra hours when needed and not moving for rise.
@TonyMetal_1986 Bobby Joe sounds cool I bet he hunts
Don't let me tell you what he hunts bobby owly girl š
āWomen must work today but men still aren't giving birth or breast feeding. WTF is up with that?ā
Women still arenāt knocking men up is the problem! :p
Nailed itš¤£
See, that still remains āourā job - nailing it. :p ;)
Will figure it out together š©āā¤ļøāš©
Kinky...
Little
Oh I know ;) :p
See I'm not the problem I'm the answer š
Or the answer to more problems! :D ;)
There's a difference between choice and biology. Women didn't choose to be the only one's capable of getting pregnant. But we did choose to work and have careers and decline the standards men created for what men and women should do. And just because women get pregnant doesn't mean that men are any less responsible for taking care of their child. It's an equal duty. Women are only the vessel for the baby before birth. After birth, the responsibility is on both parents. that's why breast pumps were made for women to pump breast milk for use if she's not their to do it in person, like if she's working.
Well geez, you took all the fun out our on going tit for tat. :p Kidding, kind of. Anyway, of course.
I'm high risk but high yield š
Kinda𤷠sort of
Iām wearing my waders. Do continue...
This is the most unfocused and contradictory drivel I've ever read.
Thanks
See? Sarcasm doesn't come through very well in text.
When you get older and wiser, you will be able to understand what she wrote!
Also try to respect a lady who is older than you! Unless you didn't have parents who taught you some manners.
@tonymetal_1986 So we arenāt allowed to disagree with someone who has XX chromosomes who is older? Even if everything she says is factually incorrect?
@Snakeyes7 you are free to say what ever you want, i'm not here to dictate people or force anyone to do what i want...
Your free just like me, you respect my opinion and i'll respect yours, that's all!
We are all different and we need to respect each other, no one can cancel other and that is what a civiled person does!
Sure
Wow girl rocks? She hammer and sickles to apparently. Long passive aggressive communist take bashing men. Not the Muslim men of course, it's all OK when Abdul does it, up to and including gang rape and grooming millions of little girls for prostitution. Feminism is fake it has nothing to do with women except pandering to them. This will come back to haunt you big time.
women work much shorter hours and cost to the state more than they provide, resulting in a negative fiscal impact of 150.000$ dollars by the end of their lives. when a man loses his job even if involuntarily the chances of their wife divorcing him skyrocket, but not the other way around. oh men also get divorced if they do the housework as women enjoy a man whom they perceive as superior and a provider. long story short this whole post is bullshit
Less masculine men: Wimps and simps.
More masculine men: Bullies and assholes.
You canāt win, but the solution is to not give a fuck about what anyone says or thinks.
Housework?
I would guess at the root... men just do not care as much if the house is a little messy.
They can go longer in between cleans because it isn't that important to us.
So it is a little messy... we'll get to it, not a big deal
Why Are You So Mad? ā
Me no mad
Good you are
Interesting.
I havenāt failed anything and am not ashamed of what Iāve become/who I am.
@WowwGirl be spittin str8 fire on this one... i'm just about speechless... a lady i know talks a little bit about the whole "oldschool" thought train concerning womens... and both mens and womens participated in this... and i disagree with the parts that have to do with womens being less respected as humans... i'm glad i wasn't raised that way... but are men still not the more earners today? i think they are... but it does have to do with how both genders spend their time
Why Are You So Mad? ā
I am an attorney, my boyfriend works in IT. We have a very specific way of settling household stuff and it works for us. Took us living together for about a year before we realized what works best. Communication is key, people.
Miss attorney i dedicate this song for you and your boyfriend and all the people who listens to you if you think that life must work your way OR take the highway...

Yes birdy owl girl š¦
@WowwGirl He's sad girls can be lawyers. :(
@CupcakeKiller you can be whatever you want, the last thing that i'll think of is what you are or what your doing, as long as you don't step in my own world and property, we will all be fine š«š¤ š¹
@WowwGirl I have and I'm speechless.
@ninjafemme baby nails ninja girl, your master tells you gracias senorita, como estas?
Kawaii girl's new Spanish name will be EL MAGNIFICA! š
@ninjafemme did I miss something. I just see a typical dude who is afraid of women but I've been away from the site a long time until recently
@CupcakeKiller 1st of all before you mention me, flush your mouth, 2nd i'm not a dude like your boyfriend, i'm a REAL MAN!, 3rd and finally i'm on this site since the site was created, i'm one of the oldest members on this site, when you search for my name, you will see my questions about marriage topics and housewife role since 2010... so just zip it š¤
@TonyMetal_1986 I don't think I will. :)
@CupcakeKiller I don't know what to say besides he's an acquired taste. Myself and @ninjafemme are his buddies on here.
Thanks owly girl, well i know what kind of ladies i have š and for @CupcakeKiller i know that she will never sh*t up since she's an attorney...
She can flip flop her mouth as much as she wants, when such female like that talks, i become deaf š
This kind of thinking is why I am a lesbian. Sounds like my dad whining about the war against men and blaming my brother and I for ruining his life. how he only married my mom because his mom nagged him to. They are divorced now but he won't pursue the woman he has been in love with for forty plus years cuz she is too fat .
I didnāt read the whole MyTake but it sounds a little silly. Men have become pampered crybabies? Not sure I agree with that nor the sentiment behind that...
It is silly
I see that you wrote it as a reactionary piece so I'm going to walk back my statements. Nice points though overall!
I apologize for some of my reactionary wording in the outset of this post. I was just being a little defensive but I see that you were responding to a particular viewpoint. Hope all is well :)
They (cranky gents) all were threatening to write a b. s rebuttal.. so i just did
Bs yes, entertaining yes, do I take it seriously _ _š
I just wana be the 1950s I love Lucy housewife I was meant to be 🥰
Lololol so we're less of a man if we do less housework? But if we just do as we're told by you that will make us more of a man? What kind of an idea is this? I live my life the way I want to and you can go tell someone else how to live their life.
I donāt marry men who donāt do housework. Iām not a maid, Iām a wife
@nella965 you don't have too. And I don't have to take orders from anyone either. I don't even care about doing housework much but anyone who wants to define what a real man is can go fuck themselves. Why do you think they want to define that? Could it be because they want to control men? Shaming people is something I see as one of the lowest forms of communication. And my nature is when someone wants to control me I almost have to do the opposite just out of principle.
Gender roles. There are still people who are brainwashed to think that earning a living is masculine and doing housework is feminine.
What is so masculine about earning a living? Everyone needs to work in order to pay rent. What is so feminine about housework? Everyone needs to do their laundry , cook and clean in order to survive , regardless male or female. Someone who doesnāt know how to cook and clean is handicapped
@nella965 Maybe, but i dont care about gender rolles, if you want to earn money for two and let me have house and kids, Im all for it. Hell i even have time for tinkering hobbies. Nor i expect you to do anything at home, just be you and sometimes offer help.
@_inkRat nowadays most families cannot survive on one income unless you want no money for retirement , no money for your kids college savings , and using coupons pinching pennies to make ends meet. Most folks live paycheck to paycheck. People canāt afford housewives anymore
You think women are perfect and hate men. That's all I got out of that.
I love men just don't respect pussy ones
It doesn't show.
Not a lot of good ones to show I guess.
To be honest I do not agree with eveything in this mytake. If the woman works and the man works then they should split the housework. And in my opinion why do the housework when you can get a maid?
