It's foolish to simp. That's understood by most people. So why do guys simp?

Why do feminine guys tend to simp more than masculine guys? The first reason is that masculine men don't need to simp.

But then again, masculine men simp all the time. So again, why do men simp?

The actual reason is that they have a warped understanding of love. They believe love to be an emotion.

Subconsciously, women use love to manipulate men into giving them what they want. So, simping is actually what women do.

Subconsciously, women want a man who loves them in a more reasonable way. E.g. "You're my daughter, so I love you." And subconsciously, women understand that that kind of love is not nice, and it has no reason to give with the hope of getting.

But these men are unaware of what women want, because they aren't women. And they're unaware of what real love is, because they've never experienced it.

This☝️I lost count a LONG TIME AGO in the USA of the amount of times I've seen, heard AND experienced women blatantly treat a guy like garbage or brush him off-if she wasn't physically attracted to him. Because that's Western culture now... you're either all the way on one side-or all the way the other. The things I read here do not really match the things I see in real life exactly, though there are some things in common. Here are the things that I think are different at least in my life and among the people I know in real life.

First there are girls who throw themselves at guys, especially certain age ranges like young teen girls sometimes do this, and there are girls who will do anything for their guys or act kind of like their servants or their children or something.

Second though, it is more common for guys to pursue girls moreso than the girl pursues the guy, and the reason is just that if you are being pursued by more than one guy (either at the same time or just that it happens a lot) there is no reason for you to go pursue some other guy, you will just evaluate the guy pursuing you and consider whether you want a relationship w him, and, this has the effect that the guy is generally going to be doing stuff for you or trying to impress you.

I thought about writing out my personal dating history but it would be long and prob. boring but the short version is, the guys I've dated have been 1- someone in my high school class who pursued me, 2- somebody I met at a college party who pursued me, 3- someone I worked with who pursued me, 4- my suitemate's cousin who she kind of fixed me up with, 5- my girlfriend's brother who I did not think of romantically at all for a while and then I caught him looking at me and started thinking about him differently and he caught me looking at him and then he asked me out. That last guy is currently my fiance. I have pursued a guy in my life, when I was 15 but it blew up in my face and usually there is not a need.

It causes me to think about him in a different way which could be good or bad. In the case w my friend's brother, he was two years older than me and for some reason I just wasn't thinking that it was possible we could date, like I thought he was on a different level or different place in his life, which is silly looking back bc two years is really not much difference. But it did not even occur to me that he was somebody who I could date or who might want to date me, until I noticed him checking me out and suddenly he was on my radar if that makes sense.

Well remember that I met him through his sister, who is four years younger than him or two years younger than me, and he treated her like his kid sister, and I was her friend, so somehow I was just in a mindset of seeing him as significantly older, more mature, more sophisticated, it did not even occur to me that we could date, I don't mean I thought "he would never date me" I mean it did not cross my mind, the way it wouldn't cross your mind that you might date your professor. Looking back I really do not know why I looked at it that way since our age difference is really not big. I guess it feels big at that phase of life, he was about to graduate from college and I was still figuring college out. Anyway yes once I realized it was a possibility, I was attracted to him, he seemed to me like he was on a different level than the guys I had been with, and, I was right about that, he's great and our relationship is way better than my prior relationships had been.

We didn't have sex for several months, I will spare you the long story but I had two bad relationship experiences in the prior year and wanted to go slow, and he was OK with it, he was a gentleman. When we did have sex, it was good, I have kind of pushed him in a little more dominant direction and I think it is better now than it was at first. I feel like we fit together emotionally and mentally and lifestyle not just our bodies, I give him what he needs and wants and he gives me what I need and want.

In my opinion if you really love someone you will want to satisfy their needs whatever that need may be , but it's a two way street. If you really love each other you can look beyond being selfish and both care for each other. I have only been in one healthy relationship in my life and we both were always putting ourselves on the back burner for each other whenever needed. It's give and take for everything even sexual needs. Nothing bonds a couple like knowing they can have uninhibited love making / sex with each other any time they like and never feel rejected. That kind of closeness from my experience there are no secrets. Everything is out in the open and communication is always great and disagreements don't last long. Mind blowing make up sex too !
