Why should you care what others do?
Because what they do is come to me and tell me that I better stay a virgin or I will be tainted and worthless. Or they come to me and tell me I better desire sex like a guy, or I'm an immature asexual loser.

It bothers me because it shapes the public's perspective of people and it creates a social stigma that tries to dictate decisions you make in life, when other people who push their beliefs on everyone claiming them to be "obvious and normal", really have logic of a chair backing their claims.
It bothers me because I live in a country where religious nuts have a much greater influence than they do in US. In real life I'm grated by The Holy Virgin's religious bullshit. Online, The Smart Slut takes the stage telling me how much of an asexual loser I am.

The only reason people voice their opinions is because they need to validate their beliefs. The "smart slut" makes you feel bad so that she can feel good about what she does. And the "holy slut" makes you feel bad because she may be on the verge of breaking away and she needs reassurance that what she's doing is right. By being mad, you are just playing their game.
