Why doesn't she want to hug me anymore?

Ok so im 19 almost 20. I have this very good female friend from my university class. We were in the same highschool. So I've bee in love with her for more than a year now. i told her how i felt last October but she didn't feel the sam way. So a month ago iwhen we were goi g out separate ways after university classes she didint hug me and i aksed her why over chat and she got mad etc. She has a bf btw. But now she doesn't want to hug me for hi and bye and just gives me high fives. So ahould i hug her next time se tries to high five me because i can't stand that anymore. she's liks my best friend ever and she also cares about me a lot. When i asked her why she didn't hug me she told me she didn't want to hug everyone but i see her hugging other guy friends and collegues form work. So should i say something to her.

she has a bf now. so that's got here head clouded. just cool off for a sec and don't try to push the issue and she will wonder why u stopped. also, try to be polite,(don't sever friend ship) but be brief with her. She will begin to worry about u and think about u more. its just human nature. good luck!

I would say that she probably doesn't want you to feel a certain way due to her hugs since she already knows how you feel about her. She also might think that hugging you may be playing with your emotions because she doesn't feel the same way.

no she has a bf since last November she didn't stop hugging me till i made that comment. But when she gives me handshakes for goodbye they last a lot longer than normal ones with other peopel

Well its probably cause you told her that then, if I had a bf and new my guy friends liked me I definitely wouldn't hug him anymore

Forget her. She got a boyfriend, she knows you have feelings for her so she probably feels you may be a threat to her relationship directly or indirectly (although you would probably not do anything intentionally).

Maybe she's uncomfortable with you now. Either way it's starting to sound like she doesn't wanna be bothered with you anymore. I'd just leave her alone and move on with life

nahh its not that i was visiting her by the sea side bc she works there. And we got in a fight but the next day she said that she really cared about me and we were close friends. Also when i was living for home she told me to call her when i arrive so it doesn't sound like what u are saying
