What does it mean when your girlfriend texts "goodnight I guess"?

So my girlfriend texts me "Goodnight I guess" and it bothers me a little bit because she would usually put a kissy face emoji or exclamation point, but "I guess"? Does this mean something? Like she's upset because we have to finish the conversation?

She's definitely upset about something. Did you not give her as much attention tonight? Because that's a text I would send my boyfriend if I felt like he didn't care to talk to me. The only thing you can really do is talk to her about it and find out what happened.

I would talk to her about it. Maybe she misses you and doesn't want it to endt the conversation. ask her whats wrong and give her a lot of attention when you see her next because she is probably upset about something

Did you, maybe, say something prior to that to get that reaction? Or did you take awhile to respond?

I would think maybe if you took awhile to respond that that was why she responded that way.

Yep, she's upset. Ask her why and tell her you feel down when you don't see the kissy face emoji. It sounds like she needs to know that you care about her happiness.
