How can a really shy girl get lots of tattoos?

Okay, I have a friend at work who is really quiet, hardly talks and since she wears hoodies and long sleeves at work you wouldn't know that she is covered in tattoos.

Don't get me wrong, she showed me them and I think she's really pretty
I just wonder, how does someone so shy and awkward have the courage to have so many tattoos, I mean like most of her body

It's like punk sort of thing... like it's her secret thing... its a weird feeling comes to few people... Hard to explain... It's like her personal side but to get rid of some thing or a fantasy she might just got one... Maybe a tattoo addict.

It's not that she is always shy it's a type of person she is shy of like the people she works with but she probibly grew up with people like the ones at a tattoo parler and is open talking to them probibly hanges around with them

i can understand where you are coming from, as depending on where the tattoo is you wonder how shy someone would be.

A girl i know who told me she was shy after she blushed has a medium sized tattoo on her lower abdomen.
