She "rejected" me but now wants attention?

So I asked her on a few dates. She said yes to all of them but we never ended up going due to time. But she told her frineds (we have mutual friends) that she only wants to be friends with me. So I heard that she wasn't interested and decided to move on. Gave her less attention and didn't text her at all for 2-3 months. And now she's back trying to reconnect with me. She said she missed us talking and hanging out and all that/

Why is she trying to get my attention now when she told everyone she wasn't interested in me? And how should I go about this? Thanks.

Some girls just like being with a guy who would give them attention.. While, there might be a possibility that she has now realized your worth and she might be developing some feelings for you. Heard of 'absence makes the heart grow fonder'? it pretty much could be it. All you need to do is see whether she is actually into you or just wants to keep you around. Don't be too much available to her this time. If she still sticks around, She is worth your time. If not , You move on.

Even if she didn't like you, you were still friends. I feel like she's telling you the truth. She missed you and the way you were before, even if she (maybe) didn't like you in that way. Of course you can choose to don't give her attention now, because you want to move on/forget her. But I think you shouldn't "reject" her. If I was you I would be her friend and see how things go, then if she tell YOU that she don't feel the same, you have the right to walk away.

I think there was another guy that she wanted but they didn't want her so now she is trying to find someone else with would be you I don't think you should talk to her and you should also ask her what was that about

She never told me. Just told her friends. But we have mutual friends so that stuff gets pased around quickly. Thnx for the opinion

She is using you to boost her ego. This happens sometimes (happened to a friend of mine) that said she could want to be friends with you, in which case go for it but make sure it stays as friends. If she gets upset that your not flirty with her you know she just wanted the ego boost, if she doesn't she was honest when she said she wanted to be friends.

At this point it's safe to assume that she wants to meet up. Tell her that you miss her too, that you'd love to meet up and when's she's free.

If she blows you off just say: "That's fine, get in contact when your schedules more free. See you around"

I'm sure she wanted to keep the friendship that she had with you before. Women like attention and friends boys and girls. I understand if you dont' think you can be friends with someone who had feeling for but she doesn't.
