What does it mean when a girl says she didn't want to bother me?

i've known this girl for 2 years and recently we have become very close, she texts me everyday and we do hang out, go to movies and dinner etc. She has said things such as

- You mean a lot to me with a red love heart
- So much love for you face blowing a kiss and red love heart ( She was drunk)
- Andrew. I love you you re the best ( She was drunk)
- I love you and I would do anything for you ( She was sober)
- I m scared of losing you
- I feel safe with you
- I am so devo I didn t get to know you sooner

She then started to become very quiet with me in ways such as taking forever to reply and sending me short responses to the point where I didn't know what to say in return. I then didn't text her for 4 days and there was no contact. Then she messages me saying " Hows uni bee? I feel like you've been really quiet and I didn't want to bother you haha. We should catch up soon x''

What I don't understand is how come she said that when I thought she was been quiet so I did the same. We sent like 10 messages each in like an hour last night. I am also under the impression she is trying to make me jealous by saying things like all these guys are talking to her but according to her they are all creepy; she says that to her girlfriends in front of me. She also said shen went out with people to this bar, but specifically stated she went alone. But didn't state who these people were. Also I was with her in a nightclub and this guy kept putting his arm around her but she wasn't reciprocating and she looked at me when this happened. I walked away and she came after me and randomly touched me on the shoulder.

She obviously likes you, as she already said to you. What did you answer when she said that? I mean, did you showed her you like her as well (if you do)? When you both exchange texts, is she always the first to say hi? Do you answer short or detailed answers?
Maybe she thought she was boring you, so when she started to gave you short responses she was testing you to see how much you care about her. If you like this girl you have to make it clear and make the move.

it's about 50/50 when it comes to making the first text haha. I am detailed with my answers and so is she. In terms with what I said was '' Oh no no you aren't bothering me'' and just that i've been focusing on my studies with uni cause it's a new thing to me. So I didn't admit to been quiet though. Cause really it was her that was been quiet in the first place

Humm, I see. But like I said she's waiting for you to do something and make her be yours! :p Most girls always need to be 100% sure that you like them to make a move first, and I think she already was very obvious about her intentions, so feel free to do "your part" whenever you want :)

So she likes you more than a friend, but is afraid you don't feel the same for her. So she probably went to her bestfriend and made plans, and texts to see how you would react.. Like if you would get jealous, joke bout it, or say nothing bout it. So you should tell her you like her if you do. If not just so you wanna be friends.

If Thad not how she usually texts, then directly ask her if anything is up. If she says yes, find out what it is and then play it by ear, if she says no try speaking to her in person rather than text, and ask again, maybe flirt a bit. There's definitely no doubt that she's into you, it's more of a matter of how you'll get her to be yours

I also just a few hours ago and I updated my life events on facebook. By adding the university i'm going to she made a comment saying '' Whoooooooooo ! :P '' Is that a flirt there? As in a crush?

I don't know, it could be. Unless something is blatantly obvious, Facebook comments are hard to interpret... either she meant it in a flirty way, it she was just showing friendly enthusiasm.

Based on what you've already said about her, I'd say it's definitely a crush, but the comment itself could go either way :3
