You have horrible cat body language. Like really really horrid.
Stop trying to headbutt your cat. I live with two really loving cats and they never do that. Some cats MAY like to do that, but it sounds like your cat doesn't. Stop being horrible to her and making her do things she's obviously not comfortable with.
Your cat looking at you and meowing just mean she wants SOME sort of attention. It could be she wants attention, treats, play time, or thinks it's dinner time. Obviously if it's not meal time then you can eliminate food from the equation.
Staring at cats in the eye does not show love. It shows dominance. Unless your cat is misbehaving don't do that. Instead look in her direction and then do sllllllloooooow blinks. That shows your cat you trust her enough to close your eyes around her.
All of this is making your cat insecure and that's why she always wants to hide. I don't know where you're getting your information from, but stop it.

Looking a cat in the eye isn't good, it's a show of dominance, a threat. Dogs are the ones who like eye contact. I've never heard of headbutting though
I've never heard that. Try petting her behind and under the ears/jaw or right behind her head - my cat loved to be scratched (lightly) there.
You have to be dominant on your cat. Also just feed and clean after her. Let your cat come to you. I used to be the same and just annoy the hell out of my cats when I was like 12 and now they are old and I let them come to me and they show me so much affection. They are attention starved as nobody is home a lot these days and always meow at me so I'll give them attention. Because of being aloof to my cats, one of them now always sleeps with me at night. Cats want what they can't get.
Yeah that may be the case, my cat heads butts me all the time. Perhaps treat her like a cat don't chase her and let her come to you more. I treat my cat like an introvert and he's very affectionate but still temperamental, he knocks cups off tables and bites when he wants a snack.

You don't headbutt a cat you rub against their cheeks with your own cheeks or let them do it to you first then do it, you can give them kitten kisses as well which is were you look into their eyes and slowly close them and slowly open them again, for cats that's a sign of affection. If a cat is comfortable with you and or trusts you they'll show their stomach to you, which means great trust, in the wild if cats show their bellies it's a sign of trust and vulnerability.
Cats aren't like dogs though with cats you have to work for it and earn it but once you do cats are far more affectionate in a more deep way then dogs are.I had a bad ass exotic cat, a African serval which is the closest living relative to a chetah. She was a little over 45lbs and loved to head butt. Aww she was so cool compared to some of my past domestic stuck up bitch cats. Sometimes you just get stuck with a bitch face cat.
Oh, I did that like a few days ago once
He was sleeping, but awake. I was thinking "The cat headbutts me to show me he cares, so I guess it means the same if I were to do it"
And I did, and he actually lifted its head to headbutt back :)because cats are bitches, i keep telling u guys this!
Your cat doesn't like you.
Cats don't meow at people they like. They purr and headbutt you constantly.Hmm your cat doesn't love you... you should dump her immediately... Before she dumps you!! Looks like she fell out of love... :-D
No, that doesn't necessarily mean your cat doesn't like you. She was probably a little irritated while you did that.
Wow mine won't let me pick her up unless i feed her lol.
