Why don't girls on tinder respond to me?

If you matched on tinder then doesn't that already mean they are physically attracted to you. So what I don't understand is why don't girls respond when I message them. I try to never just say hi or hey or anything like that. I like to base it off something from there bio, but I get nothing. No one message back and its irritating, depressing, and just doesn't make sense why its so frequent. I know some probably don't check on theirs that much which I get, but it can't be all of them.

Pretty sure a sizeable portion of them just like the feeling of matching with everyone and do it for kicks during a bored moment. Literally just validation. My hypothesis is that just the understanding that so many swipe right for them is enough validation to feel like they don't actually need tinder and can just walk outside or go to club or whatever. So matching actually makes them less interested in talking unless you're very obviously high status/attractive.
