Girl said she'd text me when she's back from vacation but hasn't yet and I know she is back. What should I do? Does she actually want to see me?

Basically, I'm trying to meet up with this girl that I had a crush on in high school (I'm a sophomore in college), but I go to college far a way from home.

I messaged this girl when I visited home about a month ago but she said she was busy studying for exams and that I should contact her again during winter break.

I messaged her on fb after Christmas and she seemed enthusiastic, she said hey with like four e's and told me that she was traveling until new years and that we should meet up when she returns. I gave her my number on Fb, and she said "awesome I'll text you when I'm back".

However, based on her snapchat, I know she's back in town but she hasn't texted me. I'm confused, should I message her to remind her or is that too needy? Does she actually wanna see me or did she try to ignore me in the nicest way possible? I was hoping she'd develop some feelings for me over break, but it seems like it may not happen.

If she was feeling it, I'm sure she would have remembered. When you meet someone and feel attraction, you don't just forget that they asked you to do something. With that said, if she is a awkward/shy type she may feel self-conscious in talking to you again and bringing it up as she may worried you met someone else or changed your mind. I say message her and see what her response is like.
