My crush's friend teases her about dating me, what does this mean?

A mutual friend always teases my crush and I suggesting we're dating or leading up to it. My crush usually responds by getting mad at her friend. The friend usually whispers it to my crush or suggests it in small ways where I don't usually notice until my crush freaks out. When they picked me up this morning they were like fighting in a way that made it seem as if our mutual friend had suggested something about me because she was looking at me and back at my crush in a suggestive way. Other times my crush talks about how her other friends which she introduced me to thinks we're dating. She also noted that a friend said we'd be dating by April which is weird. My crush has been acting like this for a while now and I feel like should say something. I'm just not sure if she feels that way about me because I'm afraid she wants me as a friend instead because of things like on the way home she got her eyebrows done real quick. But she also calls be cute every now and then and talks about boys she's rejected. I don't know what to think, but I'm afraid my lack of action is going to sizzle this sooner or later, thoughts?
