Why do "hot" girls end up alone while "average" looking girls are the ones getting all the attention?

Does it have to do with guys being intimidated by "hot" girls?

If so, how are you supposed to know if guys are intimidated by you or if you really just aren't that attractive and/or interesting from a guy's point of view?

I think that "hot" girls have a very high ego and think they can get and keep anyone they want and they have a lot of guys fall in love with them but they just play around. they get used to all the attention and begin to crave it, when age comes and all the attention and all the guys start going away they continue to crave it, except that they don't have it anymore and can't get it either. After a few years they realize they're alone and maybe shouldn't have played games with that one guy that truly loved her and cared for her and offered her a future together... they end up being one of those fat ladies in wallmart with the a shotgun face, they look like a bulldog, p*ssed at life and everyone that doesn't want her anymore.

Actually you are right, most "hott" girls I know are single. But its normally by choice I find.

I guess they get hit on by "lower" standard guys.

I guess its because they are more "hot" girls you see around than they is "hot" guys. And most of the hot guys are taken.

Therefore they are waiting for the single "hot" guy who unfortunately they isn't many of them.

E.g I have a friend who has a really attractive GF, but he has about 2 other HOTT girls who are in loveee with him. These girls get hit on all the time, have an occasional guy here and there but I know they still love him.

I'm going to agree with Tdieseler as well. the "hot" girls are intimidating with their looks and us guys either 1. don't ask them out due to possible rejection or 2. we think they're taken already. so yeah that's probably why guys end up with average girls instead of the "hot" girls.

Agreed with Tdieseler. I will usually hit on a more 'normal' looking girl because I think I have a chance to date her. A pretty girl can be very intimidating. To tell if your intimidating just look in the mirror. That simple.

Hot girls may be intimidating with their looks, but I usually don't feel that once I start talking to them, cause they may be hot but they're just like anyone else on the inside lol

I've never noticed this. I usually see hot girls constantly pursued or already conquered. I rarely see them "alone".
