Is overprotectiveness hot?
whaat?
No. That's controlling/possessive af.
I'm fine with my boyfriend letting me know he'd prefer if I wore something a bit less revealing and leaving it to me to decide if I'll respect that or not. Actively covering me up and making it seem like I'm literally his property.. nope. Not cool or hot in the slightest.
Overprotectiveness I agree can be super hot but when it gets to the extreme to where you can't even express your style or where it gets too controlling it's not sexy anymore it's annoying
Nope, extremely troubled.
That person needs to deal with their issues and insecurities
well i think the women who responded said it best so ill just say you are being controled like a pupit and she has already gotten control of your brains and thoughts wait till she starts telling you what you can and cannot do
Nope but a moderate level I don't mind. because its hard to a find a decent women these days. At least it shows she cares for you. Women don't like it because they are wired differently and they lose attraction fast.

Not to me, no. Being protective is fine, being overprotective to the point of telling me to cover up isn't controlling, in my opinion.
some view it as controlling and smothering, others think its sweet, now if they start distancing you from all family/friends and scold you for communicating to others that is abuse.
I like when someone's possessive of me. at least if they're not overly so.
this is called controlling Do what you want to Where what you like Don't let control be taken from you
A little but not really. If you guys are dating and you want to wear something that shows cleavage go ahead. Your girlfriend should feel comfortable enough to know that you are all hers and she shouldn't feel insecure about others looking. Just don't wear anything too extreme.
By definition, the 'over' in 'overprotective' means that she's going too far. Otherwise, you'd just call her protective. I'd feel creeped out.
Only if it's mutual. Otherwise I don't give a fuck until I start hearing comments, at which point it's no longer SO's problem.
I find it possessive and a sign of serious insecurity.
A little jealously is fine but I'd only be comfortable with it to an extent.
I think it is for a short while, but it gets old pretty quickly.
Not to me. I hate that shit. I am not anyone else's possession.
Who is she protecting you from, and for whom? For you, or for her?
Not hot at all, maybe the first month but any longer and you become sick of it.
That can be hot for you but i call over protectiveness cute.
