Insecure women are. Ones who often have an avoidant style of attachment due to early childhood needs not met. They can't help but chase emotionally unavailable men, and get into unhealthy relationship patterns where she can't quite ever "change him." They identify with damaged men, and are attracted because it gives them opportunity to play out and resolve their wounds by fixing someone who feels familiar to them (father issues), while forgetting about themselves in the process. Thing is, you have to be more than damaged still. Often it's attractive, silent, strong types who are damaged that women can't help but wanna help because they exude the ultimate masculine energy which draws feminine energy (nurture, communicative, open)... if you're just a damaged a-hole with no traits that attract then you're out of luck.

The women are more attracted to the "not giving a fuck" attitude (that symbolizes strength)... which is a side effect of a man being broken.
No, absolutely not. Despite what we think when we're 18-23 that a man will love us so much we can "fix" him, no emotionally stable woman over that age wants to be playing handyman to a mans shortcomings.
We fix ourselves, with the help and support of those around us. An emotionally unstable asshole sounds like the most unappealing prospect
Ugh, no. I do not have the patience for that utter bullshit.
Listen. I am not willing to be someone's therapist. Pay a professional for that.
I have no desire to do that much emotional labour for what is likely to be very little reward.
Yes bc I have to feel needed! I try to help anyone I cross paths with! Oldest sibling syndrome! I just want to love on and mother people because my heart is big Nd I really do love those around me!

I would love to help someone if I can. But not if the person has no ability himself or is so needy.
