Would you consider sarcasm as a form of flirting?

I tend to be a sarcastic person with people I know, but not to an extreme, sometimes if my friends make kind of a dumb comment I will throw some sarcasm their way. This girl I've known for a while, while at first we used to have decent, getting to know you conversations, now it seems that 90% of our interactions rely on pure sarcastic remarks to each other. I don't mind it, I have fun with it and she also seems to enjoy it and the cool thing is that we don't have to say "I'm just kidding" or anything of the kind because we both know we are just playing around, but people tend to get shocked when they hear us talk. I know I do it because I like her a lot, I like how she can keep up with me and we are just laughing and smiling the whole time, we make a lot of eye contact and even though our comments tend to be mean, its in a playful way. She is a nice girl with everybody else, she has manners and its very polite but when we are together, all those values are forgotten lol. Do you find yourself using sarcasm to flirt? Could her sarcasm be considered a way of flirting?

as a girl who speaks sarcasm as a second language I know from experience that it can be flirting.. but some people do it naturally like me...

She tends to do a lot of the "HAHA you are hilarious" sarcastic comments when I make fun of her and I tell her that the fake laugh is a lot more flattering than the real thing, because you actually have to put some effort into it, its not involutary like a real laugh lol. She also tends to repeat stuff I say while trying to immitate my voice but she ends up sounding kinda goofy and I tell her that if I believed I really sounded like that, I would probably cut off my tongue lol.

I use sarcasm with the man I like. It is a way to tease each other and say, "hey, you're alright". After all, we all like people who think like us, right? What's not to love? LOL Definitely flirting!
