Guys, why are you so repulsed by girls who play "Hard To Get", but then girls who are "Easy To Get" you call sluts?

This question comes from a survey I did yesterday where a large percentage of the guys said that they are repulsed by girls who play hard to get.

So if so many guys want nothing to do with girls who play hard to get, why is it then that the same guys will say that a girl that is "Easy To Get" is a slut? ... what am I missing?

It gets tiring to chase girls or females that seem to show "us no interest and we are constantly chasing" give us a break and a clue you are interested at least. Life, and a lot of us are really busy and this digital age. Me for example, my life don't revolve around fb and that crap, I see my friends making posts and comments daily... I am a weirdo if I don't? I don't get that, I am remodeling a house, got kids a job and am building most things for my home by hand because I am that skilled... So I should babysit social media on a smart phone and chase, chase, chase, chase, chase... I have a lot to offer... Who has time for that shit? SHOW US A LITTLE INTEREST. And generally I admire every aspect of what makes a woman and the entire female form, head to toe quite literally, afterrall you are a woman. So so what if a guy finds your toes and feet attractive to and also considers you from the toes up. You should appreciate he would admire you so much. Would everyone for you, or him. Today, a simple 'good morning' is sufficient basis for a sexual harassment complaint. I have seen it happen in the corporate world.
In some jurisdictions, such as Britain, law that was introduced on the pretext of countering catcalling has criminalised the act of a normal heterosexual approach by a male to a female.
So, the young man can approach the girl and risk losing his place at university and gain a criminal record for an Orwellian hate/thought crime that will render him unemployable for the rest of his life.

Even when I told people I was sleeping around they would be like oh no you’re not a slut! Lol. I think sluttiness is seen as more of how a person dresses and behaves rather than actual sex. I choose "D". Because I think it's a big problem that we're doing a stupid dance around attraction in the first place. If I like a girl, and the girl likes me, why should we do this stupid dance where she pretends to not be interested, and I "hunt" her like a trophy I need to mount on my wall? If we both like each other, it should be easy and straightforward. I would never, ever think less of a girl for being clear with her interest in me. She is (hopefully) an intelligent human being who knows what she wants. Therefore, if she wants me, why do the stupid dance? Because it's socially convention? The problem with your premise is that you're only describing the two opposite extremes. Although, to be fair, most people don't articulate their desires clearly, so it's easy to assume those are the only two options.

Girls that play "hard to get" just come across as childish, and a waste of time. We don't want to put in all the effort, for precisely zero return. It makes us feel ignored, and unappreciated, and that hurts. Men do have feelings, too.

Girls that are "easy", on the other hand, are on the complete opposite end of the spectrum. We don't want a girl that just throws herself at us. That just implies that she does that to everyone, and we're just another guy; that we're not special, in any way.

Why do those have to be the only two choices? Most of us just want a "normal" girl. A partner, an equal. Somebody who genuinely enjoys being with us, and let's us know that she appreciates us, as much as we appreciate her. There shouldn't be any games being played, by either side.

First, humans are a bundle of contradictions. We want our cake and to eat it too.
Having said that, just to say it as plainly as possible, we want a girl who is (extremely) hard to get (for everyone else), but only slightly hard to get for us.
We want her to make us work for it, butttttttttt, not tooooo much, while also insisting she be far harder to get for anyone else, in the present and in the past.
However, there are many girls who play inconsistently in this game. A girl can make a guy (guy A) wait three months for sex, after a myriad of dates/ romantic gesures, but have hooked up with a guy (guy B) she met on tinder two weeks prior without even going on an actual date.

Hard to get

Also the appeal is that she is genuinely and consistently hard to get, not just "playing". There are a couple things going on here. One is that “hard to get” and “easy” are not opposites though they sound like it.

“hard to get” means feigned (or real!) disinterest where you have to pursue her very actively to get anywhere.
“easy” means “has sex quickly and/or outside a relationship with guys who meet her requirements”.
so a girl can actually be both, neither or only one. A lot of relationship minded guys are looking for girls who are neither: they show interest and aren’t playing games and are clear about being interested in exploring a relationship but also don’t fuck that fast or outside relationships.
