Guys show interest and then stop all communication...confused

Recently a guy at work that I have been friends with asked me out and though he is not the type I typically date I agreed, as it turns out he is absolutely wonderful and we really seemed to hit it off. That was about three weeks ago, now all of the sudden he has pretty much completely stopped talking to me and the last time he called he confessed that he was moving at the end of the summer but would still like to date until then. The other night I stayed over at his place and he found out I was a virgin (I am not saving it until marriage or anything, I just haven't really met anyone I wanted to loose it to) and he again stopped all communication. My last boyfriend was kind of the same way, are they freaked out that I am a virgin or am I just picking the wrong guys?

This guy who I knew for a while who I was never into at all showed signs of interest in me... We talked for a while and now I like him and he has stopped talking to me... Ugghhh... I never even liked him to begin with... Once he showed signs of interest that was it! Now he acts like a douchebag...

Not enough info to know if it's related to the virgin thing. It's just as likely that it's something else like he's seeing other people and is become more serious with one of them or he's busy at work or whatever. Don't lose sleep over it.

I hate it... I never even gave this one guy a second thought until he showed interest... Now It's like I don't even exist... I guess I wasn't interesting enough...lol... Guys why do you do that?

actually we dont...its a stereotype that a lot of guys like me suffer from.. and also sometimes we get mixed signs and we don't want to get mixed up in stuff that results in nothing, as for the guy above he is just a douche, I've seen enough of it to know myself and he isn't worth any thought over, seriously the guy who will be the best for you is normally the one whos been next to you for the whole time or sits quietly in the corner, and he relly likes you but doesn't want it to be awkward.
