Why do guys show interest then pull away?

Just something I wanted to know?

They talk to you randomly text you good morning, compliment you, act like there interested then all of sudden it's like they fallen off the earth?

Why do guys do this?

If you don't like a girl why can't you just tell her straight up and stop playing mind games?

lol. because theyre not getting the response they are looking for from you. for example, with the texting, the guy always texts, then he lays back, tries to see if you'll text back. if you dont, then you're not really interested, and you aren't worth pursuing.

as for that- they probably do like a girl in this situation- but if they don't get the right response, they feel like it will end in rejection, and they give up. guys don't want to be hurt either. it hurts getting shot down lol.

OMG happens to me a few times, they seem to have a fling then like you said about falling off the earth. well the best to prevent it is to keep them interested in you, make sure that you don't bore them cause they won't wanna talk to you. maybe they got bored, wanted a new girl, or just didn't care much. and in general, theyre just plain out playerss and play the same routine with a bunch of other girls.
