When I look at a person, regardless of gender, my scan lasts no longer than half a second. That is all the time I need to assess if I know that person or not.
Anyone that looks at a person longer than one single second does it because there are definite intentions behind that stare.
Guys looking at girls for a longer time and trying to make eye contact are desperate to try to ensure that they can attempt to pick her up or hit on her.
Why would anyone even stare at a person or attempt to make eye contact if not for a very specific purpose.
I have never in my life stared at a person because I find it impolite and inappropriate. The same applies to those that gawk at others because of their physical/mental disability. It is a lack of respect towards the "target".
Yes I never intentionally stare at people just looking around and at my surroundings usually. Sadly definitely don't have the confidence to stare at someone you find attractive or whatever. Lol like they should be grateful or something? (Not)... Buying people stuff gives me confidence tho..
Yeah it happens to me, Just look back at them and if they are also staring you might as well make the eye contact last longer
