Why does she mirror my actions? girls have you done this?

This girl works as a cashier at a place I go to a lot. she's always mirrored my behavior...like if I came in and I was quiet, straight faced and one-worded with my orders (I have been described as someone who can come off as "stoic", I am not a mean person though) she would do exactly the same things. in fact she was always like this from the start and I didn't understand why (her coworkers would talk normally to me). also I saw her be normal around other people

Well I always thought she is really pretty. so I decided it would be smart to be more talkative and smile at her more...it sure worked. I can tell she knows now that I really dig her. sometimes though the quiet thing still happens though...if I smile a little and still be kind of quiet, she will smile a little and be kind of quiet too lol. she has never surpassed me in showing friendliness, if that makes sense! seeing her talk more and smile more is awesome though and I'd really like to get to know her better and ask her out

It could be 2 but when we really talked and flirted she would tell me a lot about herself and where she was going to work next and to come visit her there. Also there were other reasons. I just thought it was very unusual to mirror like that, to that degree.

You're the customer she's service- you're stoic so she doesn't waste your time. you're friendly she's friendly.

Unless she was doing monkey see monkey do I see this all the time.

haha, I know I am biased by liking to think that she likes me but it seems like you're determined to prove that she doesn't like me and she's just doing her job (I have seen you do this to several guys' questions).
