no its not, a shows a very unrealistic look for women, little girls could see barbies are roll models and believe they have to look like that to be pretty
nope, never. Barbie is basically the objectified, stereotyped opinion towards women, that has caused both men and women to accept that as perfect. It has basically trampled the confidence of women around the world. No offence! Just my opinion.
@JimboGB That's true. We women have been conditioned for long to accept things like these without any objection. It makes me wonder how people actually view the world.
Gotta be honest I love barbie but I agree with you. She played a huge role in making many girls believe that not having blonde hair, blue eyes and a slim hourglass figure is enough to be ugly. Light features are already worshiped a lot because of Marilyn Monroe, so barbie only made it worse, no matter how much her friends are diverse and from different racial background, children always see how she’s considered the prettiest and the smartest for the simple reason that she’s the perfect Nazi prototype
What if you could 3D print your preferred role play toy? What if you used a computer art to click yes and no to what you find acceptable? But how will I bi tch about stuff?

Newer versions, sure. From what I understand, they've changed them to be more body-positive and have Barbie with ambitious careers and shit.
I am sorry but no i dont think so because it just adds extra pressure on children to look like barbie which tbh is a fictional physical standard

not in the slightest is a blonde haird blue eyed stick figure spoiled rich girl a role model for anything but trophy wifing.
jesus, i will never understood why it was ever percieved as a good idea
uzaki chan, is, anime is, good parants not left wing nut jobs
Sure don’t see no problem. It is just a doll. She comes in different colours and shapes, she can be a tennis player, doctor, chef cook, etc.
Now, yes. Back then, no.
I love that they have started making Barbies with different body types. It teaches girls to love their body.
For the record, you put waaaaaaay too much effort in your post pictures.
And no, I don't think so. But it is a way to push people towards materialism.
Im a big fan of all things barbie but i can't say a plastic doll has had any influence in my life.
I had a water gun as a child too but it didn't influence me to shoot people

Why are you worri3d about offending people, you're speaking the truth! It devalues women.
- A society can only rise as high as the morality of their women.
Most women won't accept this but it is true.

If someone looks up to a doll for a role model, that's on them.
Art, entertainment, artistic/creative freedom is more important than trying to placate feelings tbh.
No , all girls don't have the shape of barbie. But it's just a doll not a example of a woman's shape.
It's the same with guys, male barbie dolls look unrealistically muscular lmao
Literally, who cares? its a toy. its not meant to be a role model.
I think Barbie is responsible for turning some girls into gold diggers, lol.
No, young girls should aspire to be taller than 8". They should also have real genitalia

No. She needs to put clothes in! Every time I've seen her she's naked! Lol
Why not. Girls enjoy playing with dolls. They always have and always will.
I never saw her as a role model. Whenever I got one I'd decapitate it.
Never kept track on barbie , but every girl in my school hates her to the very core except for one
