Strange female behavior? why did she do this?

A girl who I kind of liked in hs and I believed she liked me back because she would always stare at me added me on Facebook about 5 months ago. We never talked in school and mind you, I’m a handsome gentlemen but I don’t chase women. I accept her friend request and I text her “hey, how have you been?”. She replied a day later. I didn’t respond and deleted her. Fast forward to now in November, she resends a friend request. I accept it and I’ve waited 2 days for her to start the conversation and she hasn’t so should I just delete her and never add her back again. Shame we can’t open up and just be cool

Maybe she is just not into you. What makes you think she ever was to begin with?

If your an old acquaintance of mine and I add you on Facebook I am not gonna message you I am adding you to possibly connect in the future or to know how your doing based off your feed, it's not a game its just how I work.

If you are jumping to the conclusion that she should and you want a more upfront available friend then yeah go ahead and delete her, but if you don't play games either then stop beating around the bush and be upfront with her and ask her why instead of asking us. If you were interested in getting to know her better because you wanted to possibly date then you need to express you liked her in HS and still are interested and was wondering if she was available.

Not everyone moves fast if that bothers you then express it or let her go, she just ain't for you.

I gave her chances, shot her a message today and she replied hours later. The funny thing about that is she replied I want to say 20 mins after I deleted her. I wish I could tell her how I truly feel but if god really wanted her in my life, he would have made it easier. It’s very unfortunate but that was her last shot of ever getting with me. I got stalkers everywhere I go, work and social media but It would hurt me inside to see what could of been everyday so I delete her and move on. I fucking hate it but that’s how the game goes. I’m moving on

It sounds like you have a lot of anxiety about finding out if she really is into you which is causing you to self sabotage. Just cause other girls stalk you which is ah creepy does not mean she is into you. I am sure you would prefer being with a person who didn't stalk you. You shouldn't allow the handsome part get to your head, if I knew you I could care the least if you were attractive in others eyes, I am not easily obtainable.

That's me though. You have to see that for her you might be playing games too. You can not expect her to even know why you are acting like this. In the end you have made up your mind though about her so, I wish you the best of luck. <3

Aww no problem, and don't worry I am not your girl, if I was you would be hella late on my life status. XD Married with kids. I wish you the best of luck and don't hesitate to be blunt in your message about wanting to get to know her and date if that's the case, it's better to get answers then to never know. That way you can move on if she isn't interested.

Also if she does not add you back right away don't think she is ignoring you. When you do not have someone as a friend it tends to go into a separate inbox that is not visible in a normal inbox and she won't get the alert until she adds you. Give her some time to answer back when she does see it because she might need to sit on what your asking of her that way she can give you a real answer of her interests. Women do this confusing thing where they attempt to not seem too eager when talking to a guy they like and will literally take hours or days to respond over text. She was most likely thinking that you would see her as desperate if she replied back within the same day. I don't get it either but I'm sure she likes you since she worked up the nerve to send you a friend request a second time.

The whys do not matter. Your mistake was not being consistent with your own boundaries. The first time around you deleted her. After she resent the friend invite you should have ignored it. There is no need to ask yourself why people behave a certain way. It only effects you if you're boundaries are not consistent.

If a person acts in a way that I do not accept in my life, then they are gone from my life. If a few months goes by, and I allow that person back into my life then I should not be questioning why they acted a certain way, I should be questioning why I invited them back into my life!

Either delete her and don’t add her back or keep her on your friends list so that the cycle doesn’t keep on happening. If she messages you just ignore it.
