What could it mean if a women doesn’t text first but enthusiastically replies when you text first?

Every time I text this chick she always replies back excited saying my name, at times even going into detail about how her day is going. And then she will ask how my day is going, etc. I been interested in her for a little bit of time and started to transition into phone calls. First time I was explaining something by text and just ask can I call you to explain? She said sure! And we talked for a bit. Then recently I invited to something and she stayed for most of it and left I texted later if she had a good time and she said yes! And she had a long day and was tired. She asked how was your day? And I kept it short and said I would call her later. She liked that comment. So a day or so pass and I texted her evening time “ is it a good time to call?” And she said “ Hi! Sure call me in 5 mins. This time we talked on the phone a little longer than the last time. I wonder though am I wasting my time here? No interest in me?

Maybe you need to be clear with her about your feelings, and see if she’s on the same page. In her defense, sometimes people aren’t good at texting first, but it doesn’t mean they don’t want to talk to you. At the same time though, she may be considering you as a friend and that’s where her enthusiasm is stemming from. That’s why I think it would be good to tell her your feelings, see where she stands, then hash out the other stuff like texting and if she could initiate sometimes.

Thanks. She really doesn’t know me that well yet. Would you advise I let her get to know me for some time. Like a few months or should I just come out with asking her out, or is she would like to get to know each other better in a romantic way? I’m getting different advice some say to build up a friendship with her first, others say just be direct know.

Sorry you already answered this. But yeah it’s very early in this. I just want to make sure when she makes that decision that she sees me for who I am before just pushing it aside maybe not getting to know me.

To be honest, I’d say to just act on what you feel and deal with whatever the outcome is later. I used to be really big on timing (and in a lot of ways I still am lol), but I don't know if these things necessary have a time stamp on them. Like if you’re into someone, you should just tell them, rather than waiting for milestones, like it’s been a month, two months, etc. Everyone’s timing is different. With this situation, it seems like there’s a good flow between you two to where you can say you’re at least interested in her, or find your own laid back way of telling her this.

Women don't usually initiate conversations at the beginning of the dating stage, you have to do it. Just get her out on more dates in person
