I have noticed a lot of men underappreciated and walked on. Ladies is that hard to give your man a foot massage make him a home cooked meal when he gets home from work. Honestly men just want to feel appreciated and wanted just like we do. Men have been very patient with us ladies let's show them how much we appreciate them right!

Just so we are clear I'm talking about women who don't appreciate their man who make them walk on eggshells and make them feel worthless that's what I'm saying I see way to much of it

Sure, it may be me being pessimistic, but I can't help but feeling that it's common for girls/women to act like that.

'scuse me for saying this, but although I know that there are plenty of Aholes who still exhibits "male dominance"... or seeing girls/women as someone "below" them, I feel that It's also common enough that those that expects more "equality", tend to take it in the opposite direction

in my case, one example (of many, probably) is this "taking "no" for an answer", or even "putting partner's need first" being taken to a new level. Such as that a worst case scenario being that I'd need to cater to my What-if-partner's needs, while she'd be confident enough that none of mine should matter, and could threaten to dump me/break up with me if I try otherwise.
I mean, I'm pretty sure I would be patient in a "normal" relationship. But, having half as much as me would go a long way.

OR, one would be SO "perfectionistic", that even a minor "mistake" (such as something mildly embarassing) during a date, is enough to already break the relationship.

For example, although I haven't dated ANY girl, (partly 'cause of what I just wrote) my only "need" (that I know of so far) is to respect my independence/need for freedom. ('course, allowing me to cheat would've taken it TOO far) Can't get any more simple than that, can it?

I do this when it goes both ways. I am my own bread winner. I cook my own meals, keep my house clean and maintained and my vehicles stay tuned up and serviced. I am extremely independent. If a man can bring the same things to the table it can work. I will never be the stay at home wife. I have a career and goals. If I ever do get married, responsibilities will be shared and we will take turns cooking and doing things for each other. I want someone who wants to do that with me and not expected

I might be an oddball but I don't really care that much if a meal is cooked. I mean I appreciate it but I see multiple comedians joking as though the best thing a woman can do for a man is to make him a sandwich and leave him alone. I could always make myself a nice meal when I was single, and also be alone.

I prefer we do something we can both enjoy together. If she wants to be extra nice to me, maybe something I enjoy a bit more like watching my favorite 80s action flicks together!

I'd have been happy getting 1/10 of what I put into a relationship back. My marraige was, me working two jobs, come home, clean, cook dinner and maybe sleep a few hours before going back to work. i think nobody can manage trauma for us except ourselves through inner work.
I also experienced consistent childhood trauma from my father, got bullied in school and other people around me. I was just in a very bad spot and had nobody to look up to, but instead of hating the world, i chose to help myself become better and stronger, I got rid of my social conditioning and developed myself, and now lots of people come to me for advice when they face challenges.
