Sure, it may be me being pessimistic, but I can't help but feeling that it's common for girls/women to act like that.

'scuse me for saying this, but although I know that there are plenty of Aholes who still exhibits "male dominance"... or seeing girls/women as someone "below" them, I feel that It's also common enough that those that expects more "equality", tend to take it in the opposite direction

in my case, one example (of many, probably) is this "taking "no" for an answer", or even "putting partner's need first" being taken to a new level. Such as that a worst case scenario being that I'd need to cater to my What-if-partner's needs, while she'd be confident enough that none of mine should matter, and could threaten to dump me/break up with me if I try otherwise.
I mean, I'm pretty sure I would be patient in a "normal" relationship. But, having half as much as me would go a long way.

OR, one would be SO "perfectionistic", that even a minor "mistake" (such as something mildly embarassing) during a date, is enough to already break the relationship.

For example, although I haven't dated ANY girl, (partly 'cause of what I just wrote) my only "need" (that I know of so far) is to respect my independence/need for freedom. ('course, allowing me to cheat would've taken it TOO far) Can't get any more simple than that, can it?

I also experienced consistent childhood trauma from my father, got bullied in school and other people around me. And when i see girls/women being so loving to guys and society being loving to guys that do the bare minimum and there's a woman saying how we need to be even more loving to them?
