Years ago, A girls I used to go to school with took a picture with me. I didn't think much about at the time but then she framed and bringed it to school in order to show it to me. I understand taking a picture with classmate but why frame it and show it to me?

Was it a “professional” photo? Like a school photo? If it was, then it probably makes sense because people typically want professional photos framed.
