I fake being disabled/poor to get women to help me or give me things, what's wrong with me?

Sometimes I use a wheelchair, sometimes I fake being blind. Other times I dress up like a homeless person.
The goal is always the same: to get someone (preferably a woman) to help me out or give me something. Nothing big, I just try to get the person who stopped to give me small change or buy me a coffee, or pay for my train ticket.
One time I got a girl to pay for my small grocery (less than 10€) and then promptly threw it all in the trash once I got away.
Other times I get them to carry my bags to the train station, sometimes mailing them lose some forty minutes.
I'm not poor nor disabled, mine it's an addiction and I know it.
What's this kind of mental illness called?

If you wonder I got recognized a couple of times, and I can't go back to that town anymore.
One woman was very angry and called me bad names. The second woman who recognized me tried to get me to go to the hospital or the police.

Yeahhh… That’s really shitty. I’d call it a mental illness. I suggest you talk to a therapist because that’s not normal at all.


There’s different terms for these things. Yours seems a lot more mild in comparison to the bigger cases. One of these mental disorders is munchausen syndrome or factitious disorder. Those two are more medical, they fake things by doing things to themselves or others to pretend they have an illness or whatnot that actually they don’t have.


Please, get help.
