She joined a meetup group I created on the meetup app.
I created this meetup group about 6 months ago but haven’t had any events yet because of my work schedule and the pandemic.
I have 15 people in this meetup group but most people don’t seem to want to be active.
only this girl Calley was interested in this hiking event; it was just going to be myself, my male friend I know outside the neetup group, and myself.
Then the night before at 4:30 am she sent me a message saying she couldn’t go because she worked late that night.
I’m not sure about this excuse because I’m not sure what job involves being up until 4:30 am.
She also has in her bio that she is shy and has social anxiety so maybe this has something to do with it.
Or maybe because she would be the only girl hanging out with two guys she doesn’t know.
I’m just disappointed because I was hoping to meet someone who could potentially be a new friend in my life.
