Girl clearly likes me but is super guarded and won't text me back. What do I do?

Got this girl that I was friends with for about four months. We flirted all the time and people could tell we were into each other, we just clicked and always smile so much when we are with each other. Anyway, a couple weeks ago we got drunk together for the first time and things finally got intimate. We admitted our feelings to each other and began talking a bit about potentially dating in future. It was amazing, we spent 24 hours together and things went great. But after that, our texting became way less frequent. I bumped into her briefly throughout the week and she didn't seem interested in me anymore. Very confusing, and it made me sad. Then out of nowhere, a week later she asked if she could come over. I told her she could. Things went well again, though she was weirdly highly critical of me the whole time. Then she got alcohol out of her car and started drinking. Then she really opened up, you can often tell who a person really is when they're drunk. She told me she likes me a lot, but she's terrified of her feelings toward me, cause she doesn't want to get heartbroken again, and if she falls in love she will only think about me and want to marry me. She said all the criticism and hard exterior were an attempt to find reasons not to like me. We spent the next day together and, talked a little bit about what she had said the previous night. Things seemed to be going quite well. I've seen her once since then, which also went well. But in between, the texting has basically disappeared entirely. If she does text, it's pathetic. She spends a ton of time on Snapchat so I know the ignoring is deliberate. I like this girl a lot and want to love her in time, but even though she told me she likes me, she is very afraid to give into that emotion, and so leaves me hanging with the texting and makes me doubt her feelings toward me. Time to build trust is clearly necessary. Is this consistent pull back normal? How do I maintain faith and confidence that she likes me?
