I went to the gym with my friend the other day. Before we went I noticed she was making a lot of comments about being dissatisfied with her body and weight and said she wouldn’t be able to go swimming because she wouldn’t look good in a swimsuit and that she needed to start working out otherwise she was worried about getting fat.
Anyway, I noticed that before we went to the gym she kept asking me about my workout routine and how often I work out every day and for how long and seemed quite interested in that. So the other day we were both using the bike machine and I noticed that at one point she looked me up and down but was mainly focusing on my stomach and hips and it made me feel very self conscious, because I do take pride in being healthy and working out everyday and making sure I eat well, so it made me feel like she was judging me
Why did she look me up and down in a judgmental way?
