Why is this girl so dry to only me?

So basically there is a girl in my school where her behavior around me is so dry compared to everyone else she talks to, no matter girl or guy. I know this because when I see her with her other friends in my classes she seems normal. But with me, she’s so dry and almost seems like she is completely disinterested and annoyed at me. I don’t understand because I haven’t done anything that would make her mad / uncomfortable and we’ve known each other for a few months now. It’s like every time we talk , she seems like she wants to leave. Like even smaller things like the way she greets me is different and seems so much more dry and cold. Like when she sees me she says hi and starts walking with me but like she seems like she doesn’t want to talk anymore, it’s so weird. I started becoming more dry to her because I have been trying to brighten up the conversation everytime we talked but it won’t work.

Sounds like she either just doesn't like you, OR she thinks/knows you like her, and she doesn't like you, so she is trying to keep from giving you any hint that she might like you, so you don't hit on her.

Either is not really a good situation. I would just not hang out with her. If she is being mean to you. If you are forced to be around her, or choose to for whatever stupid reason (you like a girl, that hates you). Then when she acts like a bitch, just return it. Don't care if she gets upset, what's the worst she can do? Treat you nicely? lol

Don't go overboard, be a "nice dick" about it. It's a good move. She says something snotty, you say something shitty back with a smile on your face, or even laughing about it. If she gets mad, you stay calm, stay happy.

What's your problem? And then just laugh it off. If she continues, rinse and repeat.

I would say just stop talking to her period, but don't ignore her completely. If she comes up to talk to you, answer whatever question she has, and then move on. Don't be mean, don't be sad, just don't care. Might be hard but trust me. She is just one of those people that you don't even notice in the hallway anymore. An NPC, you only interact with when needed.

She either won't care and then you both don't care congrats! Or she will come to you and ask what is up. When that happens again stay calm and just state.

Well, you are always rude to me, and I don't want to be friends with someone like that. So unless that is going to change, then I don't think we should be friends anymore. If you want to talk about that we can, but if not then there is nothing I can do.

Either she will walk away, or try to have the convo / set up a time to have it. IF it happens you have to go in and actually listen to her side too. But also stand your ground. If you decide to make amends and continue being friends, the next time she does it call her out for it, if it continues, then leave for good, it will only continue.

lmao we are friends lol. We hung out a decent amount times after school and she comes to watch my basketball games. Like she has known me longer than her other friends

Some people just won't like you. It's that simple, and confusing, and kinda sucks. But it's not going to be the last time.

Just move on. Accept there's no way you two will be friends and just focus on others, instead.

She's not interested, you should reciprocate and likewise not be interested.
