Do you agree that a big part of women's attraction to men is dictated by pre-selection?

Men for example who are married or wear wedding rings notice a mark increase in the amount of attention/offers they get from other women. In addition, many men have notice that when they go out with an attractive female (whether that be their family member, escort they hired or friend) that more women are checking them out and show interest in getting to know him.

Below is a response made by a user on gag in response to a mytake.

"Women can't even articulate what they want for dinner let alone what they want in a man. 9 times out of 10 what they want in a man is some trendy BS that every other woman wants... not because they truly desire it but, because other women want it.

Back in my day this kid got more puss than the drug dealers and trust fund chads combined.

This is called pre-selection.

"That man is attractive NOT because I think he's attractive but, because I see that other women are attracted to him." PUA's and wealthy single bachelor's use this to their advantage by having attractive female friends, relatives or escorts accompany them to public events. Next time around he rolls solo and all of the girls are all over him. They're stupid like that. Hell shout out to West Elm Caleb... KNOWN for ghosting girls... yet somehow dude keeps getting dates.
[Further evidence supporting this. A New York business owner who goes by the name West Elm Caleb on his online dating profile. He was shown ghosting women over and over before the date. And yet women kept coming to this guy asking to go out with him]
[Women who are known for constantly ghosting men on dating apps and in person decided to get revenge on this man by doxxing his name, address and phone number onto the internet]
