Is it weird that I wish I had one or two female friends in my life?

All my friends are guys at the moment so I feel like things are scaled too far on one side.
I always thought there would be value in having a friendship with a girl so I could understand the female perspective more.
And I think if you have female friends it will seem to other girls you are romantically interested in that you don’t view women as sex objects and you are must not be a pervert if you have respectful friendships with women.

I had some when I was younger. /they helped me out with my girlfriend and also helped me feel better during some pretty dark days. I stopped all contact with these girls after I got married. My wife was jealous. I really miss them sometimes.
