So… woman I intern with I thought was into me but I found out she’s got a boyfriend (and she knows I know, and she knows I’m single). There’s a lot of detail that I don’t have room to post.
my best girl friend who knows all the details thinks she’s got some level of interest in me but I’d like more input. Here’s the main things I’ve noticed late last week
-She complimented my blazer while we walked to lunch.
-At a firm sporting event she seemed very happy to see me, her face kind of lit up.
-She talked to me for a solid 1/2 hour, she stood quite close to me, and at one point was super close to my face, so much so I thought that in the moment.
-She playfully pushed my forearm with both hands when I made her laugh (I’m pretty good at making her laugh).
-She had me proof read an email that didn’t need to be proofed, she didn’t hand me the phone but got quite close to show me it.
-She asked me “so you just got out of a long distance relationship?” She then asked about where my ex was located, and it’s semi long distance. She then asked if we broke up long distance, but we got interrupted so I didn’t answer.
I’ve felt overall that she has interest in me, that she’s at least crushing on me a bit. She’s come up to talk to me a couple times lately, and she’s never once mentioned her boyfriend. The only reason we know each other’s status is because we were in a group and she got asked by a female intern if she had a boyfriend, she said yes, and then I was asked and said no.
