There’s a lot of weird details and connections that would take forever to explain, but overall, I had the belief that my coworker crush rejected me because she thought I rejected her initially. Either that or she just didn’t like me. I wish it was straightforward but now she’s doing things that are legitimately questionable. I genuinely thought she was into me, all the signs were there. I was building the courage to finally ask her out and on the day of, she took me by surprise and asked if I wanted to hang at her dorm after our shift and in between my break. I was shocked but also figured I wouldn’t have much time in between my shift so I said no even after her insisting. I had planned on running an errand so told her I had to, but the way I said it made it sound made up.
later in the day I text her saying I’d like to make up for how things went down and we should hang out sometime. She said yes but she only sees us as coworkers and friends and wasn’t implying anything by invited me to her dorm. Said she offers that to everyone. She laughed about it too, which kind of hurt, but I wasn’t crush considering how it went down. You normally don’t invite someone like me to your dorm unless it’s a good thing. I told her this and I admitted I was into her but figured it would end like this. Told her I was glad I shot my shot. She said thanks for understanding and I was ready to move on.
but the same week she starts posting almost naked pics on her bedroom on her Instagram story. She hasn’t done this since I’ve known her and now twice in the same week. I didn’t actually see the photos, my friend let me know. She also went out of her way during shift to go to my zone and ask me a question. Said texting was not worth the effort, but it would have been far easier to do versus leaving the facility where she’s stationed and making her way to me. Could have used to work chat, called, DMed, etc. Is she trying to mess with me, why would she?
