What do you think about this scenario with a women at work?

Some years ago there was a cute , younger coworker that came in ( she has since left and moved to another facility) that I found to be very attractive. I was 39 at the time and she was 24. From the get go I noticed that she was always looking at me - or perhaps I should say staring. I would often catch her checking me out and also making eyes with me. For example, I recall on one occasion I was alone in a conference room getting some stuff ready and I glance to the side and I see her standing at the doorway just staring at me. I asked her if she "needed" something and she just giggled and left. Another time she just walked up to me and was about 2 feet from me and made these very obvious "elevator eyes". Eventual I reached the conclusion that she was into me so I started talking to her yet she was always very dismissive and curt when she answered. I tried a few times but that is how she would respond. After a while I figured she was just playing some weird mind game so I started to ignore and avoid her. At times she would still stare at me but after a while it got old and even slightly odd. She was like that for the two years she was there. I was always polite and I never mentioned it to her or anyone else at work. Also , I don't date at work so I had to clamp down on my attraction to her. She was not there very long but I bring this up since I saw her picture up on some other social media site last week and she came to mind so I decided to give that experience some head space.
