I thought that when your around a women you want to be yourself. And I was unapologetically myself. But I still got rejected when she found out I was a virgin.

Then that girl is not the one for you. Being a virgin is perfectly acceptable. Some guys and girls wait for marriage, others don’t. Those are life choices up to the individual. I think you’ll find most women will not care that you are a virgin. This one did and it is quite wrong to write someone off because of that.

If anything, I’d be honoured to be someone’s first. That means that of all the people they could have chosen for that special moment to share, he chose me. I would go as far to even say I would make sure that moment extra special since it only happens once.

The other thing to remember is that even firsts with a new partner are often clumsy and awkward. I’m not talking first time ever but first time with someone new. There is that learning needed to know what your partner likes/dislikes. Very much like the very first time ever, you just aren’t sure.

I would never preclude dating someone because they were a virgin, ever. She was just the wrong girl.

She's insecure. Women that do that do it because they consider you "not in demand". And if you're not in demand then that means she getting a guy that all other girls have passed on. And what does that say about her value. These types of women even when they take interest in a guy really aren't even taking interest in HIM. They're taking interest in the image they're built for him. And how it relates to HER. Most things will actually relate mostly to her because she's so insecure. If one of these women reject you for being a virgin be thankful. She just saved a whole lot of drama and heartache.

They don't hate you.
They wonder and then start looking for WHY.
If they can't find the answer, they'll make one up.
