Are the girls in Russia very sad these days?

ZARA closed. IKEA closed. Bershka closed. H&M closed.

I saw lots of girls with shopping bags from ZARA. Plenty of girls loved going for shopping there. Now it's history until further notice.

But I think girls will resort to alternative merchants as painful as it is, that their favorite shops are gone.

Russians probably miss their country pre-war but you can't just go and invade anyone whenever you feel like it unless you're the United States. The world is losing its dependence on Russian goods and oil and we're paying for it at the pump unfortunately. I'm just worried that westerners will lose interest in the conflict and stop supporting Ukraine which will embolden Russia and China towards future military actions.

Well, there's also the whole "our country is at war" thing and the "we invaded our neighbors will damn little justification" one, plus the whole "our leader is a maniacal lunatic" and "innocent protesters are being arrested" aspects. Do Russian women like shopping? Probably; I don't know them. But they've got more- and more important- reasons to be upset.
