When a girl tells you she thought of you, is that a sign that she's interested?

There's this girl that works at this dispensary that I go to pretty frequently that I am pretty interested in and I have a feeling she might be too, but I just want to see what others think.

I dont really know why I think she's interested, its more just subtle things, i. e. telling me the Chapstick they sell makes your lips really soft, and last time I was in there she told me that she thought of me recently for one reason or another.

The problem Im having is that I don't really know her age (Im guessing that she's 22-26) but she knows that Im 20 as she takes my id every time I go in. It worries me because I feel like she wouldn't be interested in someone my age and everytime she says something that makes me feel that she might have interest I just end up second guessing myself because of the age gap.

What should I do?

Hard to say just from what your details list. I would not feel confident saying she is into you based solely on what you provide as a description of the situation. You may be into her and she may be friendly to you, but you are missing one key thing.

She works at a job where I am guessing she has to be nice to none other than... customers. Yep, that is no different than any consumer retail job or service industry job.

They depend on their employees to be nice to customers to keep them coming back. So, that is the one reason I would say no she isn't interested. Just because she tried to upsell you chapstick doesn't mean anything.

Now, if there are more details (signs) that you have left out, update the question using the update box so that users can have more of a clear picture as to what the situation is. Otherwise, I will stick by my opinion here that she is just being nice because it is her job to treat customers well.
