Why would a girl ignore me but be happy catching me looking at her butt?

I asked this girl out three months ago and she came up with a terrible excuse, and she never asked me in return, so I moved on and did not pay her too much attention. I run into her today and tried to say hello, got a cold shoulder from her initially. As I was walking away, I turned around and accidentally looked at her butt, she caught me looking and immediately gave me a beautiful smile and waved at me. So I tried to approach her again to have a conversation, only to witness her running away in an almost jumping fashion. Is she just satisfied that people found her attractive, or is she interested?
