Women are homemakers! Why is taking care of your family an insult? Is my husband hungry? Does he want a sammich I can make him something yummier. I was widowed at a young age so I had to go back to work! But why’s taking care of your family an insult? Women belong in the house being domestic. A great day for me would be cleaning the house, making healthy meals with clean Whole Foods and then making love. What’s wrong this?
Well the insult come from the perspective that woman are slaves in all they do is clean the house and make the food. When I was younger the joke going around was “woman go make me a pie!” I got in to the habit of it and loved saying it to girls I knew thought it was funny as an end the conversation type comment. I got to using it so much though that I lost control of when I said it.

Wow, it's so refreshing to hear this from a woman.
I'm the type of man who doesn't feel the need for things to be 50/50. If it ever got close, i'd be ashamed of myself. It's in my nature to work, get home, and work some more. Why? Because it needs to get done. I don't need to be told thank you for doing what is expected or me either. What I do need and appreciate though is a woman who doing what she can to optimize my time and offer a less stressful environment.
Doing things doing the dishes, washing closes, making dinner, making my lunch to bring to work tomorrow.
If he’s hungry and making himself a sandwich he can make me one too.
I don’t ask. I don’t expect him to ask. I do make him one if I am making my own, but I’m not a slave. Nor do I expect him to be. Free sandwiches end up in the fridge for the next taker…

The type of woman that men LOVE! Thank you for the post and have an amazing day!
"Different strokes for different folks." Many people believe it is demeaning to say such a thing because they believe we've moved past believing women are always subservient or submissive to men.
I have no idea. People like to find things to be offended over.
Whst relationship works for someone might not be for another. But who cares.
It can be derogatory in a sense, Its a dominant male thing to say to a submissive female. It can be used as a sexist remark.
"Woman go make me a sandwich" vs. "Can you please make me a sandwich?"
Because for many "boys", its an expectation.
Nothing at all. Not everyone feels the same. Also, not every family can afford one income.
its an insult only when you have a son who refuses to get a job and still lives at home at 40 years old trolling people on the internet
Because it's based in sexism.
I don't think it is
